In order to achieve this goal, ADAFIN facilitates a wide array of activities that focus on awareness-raising, direct protection, capacity-building of community-based protection mechanisms, and coordination and advocacy at payam, county and state levels. These activities combined sought to provide an environment for community members which is free from everyday violence, where the rights of women and girls are respected and their participation in decision making on peace-building, protection and security issues is promoted.
